Restaurant at Three Ways House Hotel
Mickleton, Chipping Campden, GL55 6SB
The origins of Three Ways House Hotel can be traced back to 1871 when it was built as a charming private house of Cotswold stone. It was converted into a hotel during the early 1900s and is today famously known as the home of The Pudding Club that was founded to prevent the demise of the traditional great British pudding. The restaurant's bright yellow lampshades, blue walls and furniture, and crisp white linen have given it a contemporary look whilst keeping the atmosphere friendly and relaxed. The AA rosette menu changes weekly and makes the best use of fresh, local produce in season. A pigeon and raspberry salad with crispy leeks could therefore set the stage for a main course of roasted sea bass with sautéed pak choi or pan-fried calves' liver served with sweet potato mash and thyme gravy. The origins of Three Ways House Hotel can be traced back to 1871 when it was built as a charming private house of Cotswold stone. In a hotel where even the bedrooms have pudding themes, meals would seem incomplete without trying one of the tasty afters such as the grilled fresh fruit kebab on an orange and mint rice pudding or profiteroles with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce.
