Restaurant at Windsor Lodge Hotel Description

Windsor Lodge offers country house comfort only a short distance from the centre of Swansea. The restaurant was expanded some years ago to allow for non-residents to enjoy the by-then renowned atmosphere, two of whom were President Jimmy Carter and his wife.

For a relatively modest hotel the menu is expansive and starters include stir-fried tamarind duck salad with noodles, a tian of crab and avocado and gravalax with potato salad and red onion topping. With mains such as pan-fried swordfish on a herb risotto and red wine sauce or beef and guinness pie with a puff pastry topping; finishing with steamed pudding with a whiskey sauce, iced coffee parfait with a caramel sauce or bread and butter pudding.
