Restaurant Bar & Grill - Liverpool

Four of us had lunch on the Sunday of the tall ships. It was quite busy but we had an excellent lunch. The service was prompt and the food was good with ample portion sizes. The only negative was that it was on the pricey side. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for special occasions.

Located in Halifax House on Brunswick Street, The Restaurant Bar and Grill in Liverpool is housed in a former Bank just outside the main section of Liverpool commercial district. Its interior is as impressive as its exterior. The staffs are friendly and helpful and well knowable about the items on their menu.

We visited on a Saturday after a wonder round some of the more impressive building located around Brunswick Street. We settled down after being shown to our table and looked at the menu for our choices. I chose of the specials menu, duck served with sweet and sour red cabbage, with that I ordered a side of new potatoes. My girlfriend ordered king prawn linguine with a coriander, ginger and sweet chilli sauce. Our meals arrived in short order along with our drinks, both our meals where excellent with generous portions and for my girlfriend, a large amount of prawns and linguine. The meals where excellent with duck being soft and tender and the cabbage was cooked to perfection the coriander, ginger and sweet chilli sauce were all nice while not being to overpowering. After our main course we ordered dessert.

I had another item of the specials menu, which was a lemon mousse with a crushed biscuit base. And my girlfriend ordered a dark chocolate mouse and both where nice. I would say it is an excellent restaurant to visit and eat at.
