The Restaurant in Nunhead is a real find – it is small and friendly and offers fine dining in this hidden corner of London. The layout is clean and contemporary and the service is very professional and attentive but not over bearing.

We had no problem finding delightful choices in the menu and last week we had truffle risotto, a shared starter, steak and vegetable gratin as mains and a divine chocolate pudding, water and wine all for under £60 total. The menu seems to change so it's well worth a return visit.

I went to the restaurant with my partner, the service is excellent, the restaurant is cosy and chilled and the food is divine. It is a place that has to be visited to see what all the fuss is about.
