I visited Hamburg on Christmas holidays and noticed this place on the last day and decided to visit it. The restaurant is situated in an early 19th century industrial house reconstructed and renovated into residential complex with street-retail at the ground floor. The interiors are rather good. Service was okay; waiters are Asian and Afro-Americans but senior waitress, cooks and chief were German. The menu offered a narrow choice of about ten dishes and there is a menu in English as well. We were surprised that for some dished prices in English version of the menu is smaller than in German ones. So it's quite favourably to be a non-German visitor. Prices are from 8, for soup, desserts, to 30 Euro. The wine card was good and prices were reasonable. Coffee costs 2.5 Euro, beer - about 4. I took duck gammon with potato doughnuts and sweet sauce at 22.5 Euro. The meal was okay, but not brilliant so I rated it as 4. In total the overall mark is 4. The place is worth to visit with the purpose to spend some time drinking wine and eating some original meal. Prices correspond with the positioning and quality.
