RIBA Cafe
66 Portland Place, London, W1B 1AD
An art deco landmark in the heart of the West End, 66 Portland Place is home to the Royal Institute of British Architects and RIBA café, restaurant and bar. So you can rightly expect the dining area to be impressive, beautifully designed to give loads of light, with high ceilings and large windows. The café is a popular breakfast and lunchtime spot serving the freshest tasting coffee possible and the bar is a 'high street takeaway style' kind of place offering fresh salads and a fine variety of wines, spirits, bottled beers and cocktails at night. The food is modern British with a good choice of seasonally changing dishes such as pan-fried Cornish mackerel, braised belly of lamb and manuka honey crème brûlée with caramelised apple and cumin shortbread. An art deco landmark in the heart of the West End, 66 Portland Place is home to the Royal Institute of British Architects and RIBA café, restaurant and bar.
