A family owned restaurant established in 1987, The Rincon Argentino serves a blend of authentic Argentinean-Italian cuisine and is located right behind the Greenery Mall in Coral Gables. With an atmosphere that stays true to the food served, the restaurant is fashioned in an old-world style, with long wooden tables, walls that are filled with old photographs of its patrons, racks of wine bottles along the walls and the centrepiece, which is a gigantic fire pit in the middle of the dining room that is perennially covered with dripping racks of sausage, beef, and sometimes a whole pig.

Argentinean cuisine is known for its barbeques and other specials and this is what the restaurant promises, bringing the sizzling iron grill right to the diner's table, with juicy flank steaks, kidneys, sweetbreads, and blood sausage simmering atop white-hot coals. The menu starts with dishes of broiled eggplant; prosciutto and marinated tongue moving onto mains of meat and vegetable homemade pastas and a number of choices in barbeques.

All of the varied fare can be washed down by choosing from the extensive wine list of beer, ales and other cocktails.
