Ringlestone Inn
Ringlestone Road, Maidstone, ME17 1NX
This is a traditional English country pub with a unique atmosphere, built in 1533 it is a grade 2 listed building, retaining many original features including an inglenook fireplace, with a log fire and a rich abundance of oak beams and Tudor brickwork. Apparently there are also plenty of spooky ghost stories to entertain you. They offer an a la carte menu prepared from fresh local produce. The menu includes traditional favourites such as beef Wellington and sausage and mustard mash, they are also well known for their famous Ringlestone pies; they also have a selection of vegetarian options and a children's menu with healthy choices. They feature a large selection of over thirty English fruit wines with flavours from apple and apricot to sloe and strawberry, they also stock a selection of liqueurs with chocolate a firm favourite. They offer an a la carte menu prepared from fresh local produce. REVIEWS OF Ringlestone Inn
Matthew (10 October 2010)
The place is absolutely beautiful! You don't ever see such stunning and homely country pubs anymore. The food is worth every penny and the place was so friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend!
Kevin (21 November 2008)
I went to this lovely English pub and we had no problems whatsoever, this is not a brewery as stated in the review below, it is a pub not a fancy restaurant. We were a table of seven and all of us had piping hot pies. I might add also the traditional puddings were nice like jam roly poly and the sticky toffee pudding and the crème brûlée were to die for. All in all we have booked for Christmas day and we can’t wait.
