The Riverview Restaurant at the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre has a fresh and sparkling ambience for which the riverside garden might be largely responsible, although there's something to be said for the Mediterranean and French influences in the cuisine. If you're looking for a place to eat to coincide with pre or post theatre timings, then there's probably no better dining option, although you could always enjoy the fabulous atmosphere for even the most casual of visits.

Starters from their menu include honey and ginger hot duck with asparagus salad or crab and watercress linguini with red pepper tapenade. Move onto a delicious main course of pan fried mackerel fillets on lime with wild garlic and mustard dressing or tagliatelli with wild mushroom and basil sauce, truffle oil and parmesan shavings. Delectable desserts include chocolate truffle tort, spun sugar and raspberry dressing and the exciting new wine list offers something for everyone.
