Ronnies Description
Even though it opened its doors only in 2007, Ronnie's restaurant and coffee lounge has grown in popularity to become one of the area's most loved restaurants. Chef and owner Ron Faulkner focuses on quality, freshness and locally sourced ingredients to present diners with tasty modern European cuisine.
The Good Food Guide Restaurant of the Year 2009, Ronnie's can be found in a lovingly renovated 17th century building with period features such as beamed ceilings and natural stonework. The walls are adorned with artwork by some of the UK's leading artists.
You could pop in for morning coffee and homemade cake or a more relaxed time of drinking and dining in the afternoon or evening. À la carte and fixed price menus offer dishes such as a starter of twice-cooked belly pork with Clonakilty black pudding and beetroot chutney, and a main course of grilled fillet of line-caught sea bass with a fennel and courgette panache, sautéed new potatoes and lemon oil.
Ronnie's offers hand-selected wines at excellent value for money.

Your Reviews of Ronnies
Robert Wilson (8 February 2008)
I visited Ronnies with four friends, and we were not disappointed. There was a warm welcome and after being offered drinks, we were shown to our table. We all selected from the a la carte menu, staring with squid and pate. We followed with venison and bream. The service was friendly and efficient with starters arriving quickly, looking great and tasting just as good. The main courses arrived after a very short interval. We concluded with coffee. The bill was under £120 for the five of us and included two drinks. Ronnie spoke to everyone and like his staff made us very welcome. It is no surprise then that the restaurant was full. We will return and have already recommended it to others. Many thanks to Ronnie and the staff.

It was my second visit to the restaurant since it opened and I have to say this visit was even better than the first. The food is consistently of an incredibly high standard (the garden pea soup and salmon main are delicious) and coupled with great, friendly service it makes for a really special evening. I'm a real foodie and am lucky enough to have eaten in a lot of top London restaurants, but the food here wins hands down. You won't be disappointed. Enjoy!
