RoomSix Vodka Bar and Grill Description

RoomSix is the exclusive Bournemouth home of the Black Rock Grill. The concept originated in the Far East and involves the customer cooking on a square piece of volcanic rock, which has been superheated to 440 degrees centigrade. Fillet, sirloin, rump, pork loin, lamb leg, scallops, King prawns and a host of other fresh meats are always in stock, whilst vegetarian options are also available

Cocktails are a speciality, including their exclusive sweetshop flavoured, favourites apparently include Terry's Chocolate Orange, Mint Aero and Skittles flavours. The funky, laid back and stylish RoomSix is positioned in Bournemouth Town Centre, about a ten minute walk from the beach, just off the Lansdowne Roundabout.

Your Reviews of RoomSix Vodka Bar and Grill

Local (19 December 2008)

This is a brilliant place for a laid back and relaxed atmosphere. The food was superb; a bit fiddly with the hot rock, but the chicken was divine. Don’t be shy and try some of the sweet flavoured shots. My personal favourites are the jelly beans and Milky Way. It is great food for a reasonable price; I was stunned when the bill arrived. The staff are friendly and your food arrives quickly. There is more of a bar/pub feel than a restaurant. There are a few booths and tables along one side of the room where you can eat. They sometimes have local unsigned bands to play. Overall, the food is gorgeous and the place is lovely, but it is quite small so always make a reservation just in case they don’t have room. Also I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone under eighteen because it’s more of a bar/pub type of place.
