Situated just off the Windsor Road and half a mile from the Ascot Racecourse in the hamlet of Woodside, The Rose and Crown is a 200 year old traditional low beamed English pub. Peter, Kathryn and Dave Hancock warmly welcome customers to the refuge and ensure everyone has a good time.

The AA Rosette restaurant offers dishes created from the freshest of ingredients; you could stop by at lunchtime or in the evening for drink or a satisfying meal. Starters include deep-fried Roquefort and goats' cheese with orange compote and Thai tiger prawns while mains take in canon of lamb served with minted mashed potatoes and honey roast vegetables, and spring onion, ginger and black bean steamed halibut.

There are beers and guest ales as well as numerous wines and champagne.
