Tasting tourist (2 August 2011)
This is a real hidden gem in the delightful village of Rockbourne. I have eaten here many times either for a romantic meal and for a large family sunday lunch and every time the service, food and atmosphere have been second to none. The roast is fabulous and care and attention seems to be paid to the menu by an obviously passionate chef. They do get booked up so I would always book ahead as its so annoying to get there and see the "fully booked" sign on the door as I have before.
