Rosso Restaurant

43 Spring Gardens, Manchester, M2 2BG

The Rosso restaurant is housed in a 114-year old, Grade II listed building conveniently located at the top of Manchester's prestigious King Street. The venue is steeped in history and draped with beautiful stained glass windows and decadent marble domes and offers authentic Italian cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere. The service is friendly and makes an ideal spot to end a busy day, or to start a busy night. Start with carpacio di manzo, thinly sliced prime, raw beef hung for twenty eight days, dressed with organic rocket, aged parmesan shavings and lemon olive oil, and asparagi alla Milanese, steamed fresh asparagus topped with a soft poached egg and parmesan cheese, and then baked under the grill, with classic Italian diced vegetable soup.

REVIEWS OF Rosso Restaurant

Antonia (26 February 2011)

We dined at Rosso last night for the first time and had a fabulous evening! The building itself was stunning - even more so on the interior, the decor and styling of the restaurant was beautiful. The food was excellent - not too expensive for a relaxed gathering of six. The bistecco alla rosso is highly recommended. The service was excellent, and I can only say great things about the staff. I am already looking forward to dining there again.
