Rotisserie - Hatch End Description
Anyone who loves a good steak will acknowledge that The Rotisserie does a splendid job of turning out succulent and tender grilled meat at all of their smart and stylish locations spread across London. A common theme in the decor is evident with the exposed brick pillars and the wooden flooring that lend a touch of rustic charm. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming while the service is friendly and efficient, which helps turn your meal into a marvellous experience.
The menu is straightforward, relying on a simple love of meat, so typically expect starters of char grilled spare ribs followed by crispy roasted Barbary duck with seasonal vegetables and Yorkshire pudding. Another excellent choice would be the grilled salmon teriyaki or the roasted lamb shank with mashed potatoes although it would not do to miss their famed steaks, fillet, rib eye or sirloin or even the kobe burger. Sweet endings come with the maple pecan bread pudding or a selection of sorbets.

We had a very good meal, but were disappointed with having to either book at 6.30pm or 9 pm on a Saturday night. We opted for the 6.30 pm. We were a party of eleven and would have stayed longer for liqueurs, but were hurried through our desserts and pushed into having a coffee early. We were also offered the Christmas menu after we had decided what to have on the main menu, and considering it was 6.30pm we were not offered the early bird. I did try to give a feedback, but they did not listen to what I was trying to tell them, and kept saying ‘sorry you did not enjoy your meal and to email the owner!’ They were really not taking any responsibility. We have used the restaurant regularly to meet up, but will not be booking again.

It was one of the only meals out recently where I started to look for an excuse to return as soon as possible. The restaurant was full as it was a Friday evening, but it was totally comfortable. The food was both enjoyable and interesting and the service merits a special a mention.
