We have been eating at the Royal Naim for about five years now. We think that it is amongst the best restaurants in the Sparkhill area. We always enjoy efficient, friendly service and the food is always fresh and very tasty. Chicken tikka starter is amazing - none of the re-heated, pre-cooked meat like so many other places. Curries are excellent and full of flavour and unlike previous comments made, I always find them different from one another. This restaurant may look basic but the food is first class. Well recommended.

After being recommended to go there by my brother, my friend and I decided to dine at Royal Naim.

I like the idea of 'bring your own wine' and so was pleased by that. I have to say the rest of my evening was disappointing. The tables have jugs of water which weren't fresh. The poppadoms were stale and despite ordering two different styles of curry, both my friends and mine were almost identical sauces but with different meat.

I also found the waiting staff unsatisfactory. I am always uncertain about trying new places but was looking forward to this place. However, my friend and I left dissatisfied. I won't be going there again.
