Royal Oak - Barcombe

Tucked away in the quaint village of Barcombe, the charming Royal Oak dates back to the early 16th century when it was a couple of cottages and a garden. It proudly stands, even today, as the favourite drinking spot among the local community.

The front is neatly presented, with hanging baskets, a table or two for making the most of any fine weather, with further tables in a beer garden and children's play area to the rear of the pub. Inside, there are thick carpets, wooden tables and chairs, and attentive experienced staff to help you feel right at home.

Freshly created traditional English dishes and a selection of wicked desserts are offered at lunchtime and in the evening. Warm brie and bacon salad gets you in the mood for what will prove to be a delightful meal. You could consider homemade steaks or roasted salmon for mains.
