Oriental restaurants have a reputation for their attentive service and are known to add a dash of warmth to every aspect of the dining experience and the Royal Thai Restaurant, true to its Eastern roots, is certainly no exception. Located in Nottingham's eating alley, Mansfield Road, the restaurant has been serving authentic Thai cuisine since 1987 - a testament to its wide acclaim among the foodies in Nottingham. The décor is pleasant, the seating comfortable and the staff, more than friendly and ready to offer suggestions on the choice of food if asked for them. We went to the Royal Thai restaurant last night as a change to our usual venue and were so pleased that we made that decision. It’s a lovely place, the food was superb, hot, well presented, very well priced, and more than plentiful. The members of staff were polite, respectful, and attentive. The ‘Royal Thai Platter’ as a starter was particularly nice. We would recommend this restaurant and look forward to going there again. Top marks!
