Ruby Blue Description

Ruby Blue aims to offer food and entertainment largely by taking the formality out of eating and replacing it with a friendly, collective experience amidst really funky décor. This depends upon a widely drawn series of dishes that lend themselves to shared eating from a menu that gains inspiration via the cuisines of Greece, Spain, India and China.

So in the course of one meal you could enjoy, for instance, the flavours of blackened Cajun chicken Caesar salad, avocado and crayfish with a citrus Marie Rose sauce and wild rocket, char-grilled sirloin steak and crisp skinned sea bass, pan-fried and served with chive mash and seared cherry tomatoes. The drool-worthy descriptions of desserts warrant attention, with 'naughty but nice' profiteroles, or cherry and white chocolate pancakes.

The customary range of powerful cocktails awaits your pleasure and with Happy Hour from 5 to 8 pm every day your evening could be off to a very good start. They know how to look after you at Ruby Blue.

Your Reviews of Ruby Blue

Joanne (18 April 2008)

Ruby Blue is a very impressive venue. The staff were polite, attentive and always willing to help. The place is stylish with a great atmosphere and the reasonably priced food is fantastic. I definitely recommend this place and will return soon.

Clare (14 March 2008)

I was recommended Ruby Blue by a friend and was thoroughly impressed by the venue. We started off with a few very reasonably priced cocktails in the very stylish upstairs bar before moving down to the club. Both rooms had a brilliant atmosphere and we really enjoyed ourselves. I spoke to the reservationists on the night to enquire about a guest list for another weekend. She was very helpful and suggested hiring out one of their fantastic looking areas also. Both my friends had such a great night, and have booked to go back again with lots more people. I would recommend Ruby Blue to everyone for the perfect night out.
