A premier fish and seafood restaurant situated in the heart of Smithfield meat market, as eminent as Wheelers was 25 years ago. Famous for its fish and chips plus an a la carte menu with daily changing catch of the day and good traditional accompaniments, as well as a few meat dishes for the carnivores.

Friendly staff and a regular clientele add atmosphere to this former sausage factory, resplendently decorated with original Victorian tiles and marble topped tables.

A change of ownership in 2006 has rejuvenated the place and brought a new touch to the stoves with dishes like sea bass ceviche, spiced pineapple and coriander dressing or salt and pepper calamari with mango pink pepper relish to start, followed by pan fried baby turbot with braised oxtail, summer greens and saffron or miso glazed tuna with bean sprouts, gai lang and pickle.

Wonderful desserts range from apricot brioche and butter pudding to honey and mascarpone crème brûlée.
