Many diners find Ryo a little too brisk and business like for their tastes but if you understand and appreciate how it works and take it for what it is, there's plenty to recommend it. First off it isn't a place to sit back and enjoy a leisurely meal, neither is it remotely romantic. However, if you're in a hurry or don't mind being hurried, you'll be happy that they take your order before showing you your seat. The menu is far shorter than at most restaurants making the ordering even easier. Food is quick to follow but there's nothing slapdash about the cooking and the prices are good value.
