S & M (Sausage and Mash) Cafe - Peninsula Square

I didn't like this restaurant at all. The menu looks hectic and was not easy to read. We were led to believe that we could only order mash and sausages along with the side orders. I wanted only the meat and chips and we told the waiter this because I'm not into mash. So my friend ordered her meal and I thought I would get a side order of sausages and chips with her meal. But they insisted that I could only get sausages with the mash! So I had to pay £8 for two sausages without mash and then £2 for a side order chips! The sausages were small, greasy and sticky and very grizzly. The chips were like chunky frozen oven chips.

To top it all, the girls next to us had a plate of what looked like a small steak and chips placed in front of them, which I did not see on our menu. I wish the waiter had told us that steak and chips was an option, but instead, he chose to over charge me to get me to hurry up and order. Further more, my scarf had been on the floor throughout the meal and none of the waiters who had been stepping over it chose to tell me. The music was irritating, it sounded like a drum being beating through a broken speaker, whilst you were under water! Greasy food, rushed service and terrible waiters! Very disappointed.
