We visited Saffron during the weekend and were very impressed. The décor is very stylish and for anybody who remembers the place as it was as the Viscount, they will be amazed at the change, by far the nicest surroundings of any place to eat in this area. Onto the food, although Indian food has never been a favourite of mine, I have to admit that I have now had a change of heart, we had three courses and each one was presented, cooked and served exceptionally well. The place was busy and had a lovely atmosphere and the prices are very reasonable. I would definitely visit again and I’m happy to recommend to anyone who has yet to try Saffron, you would be impressed.
