Saharaween Description
Split between an exuberantly decorated restaurant and a ground floor tea room, Saharaween is a friendly Moroccan gem close to Leicester Square in Central London. Floor cushions, dime lighting, low seating and exotic belly dancers set off the cosy, intimate ambience.
Typical of a small, cosy place, the menu is not extensive but offers very tasty mezzes and main courses. Indulge in the falafel, zealous and grilled meats before moving on to a main course of hearty lamb or chicken dishes. These meats are cooked with exotic spices and sometimes dry fruit transforming their taste completely. Round these off with delicate couscous or freshly made pita bread and enjoy the serene ambience and warm hospitality.
