Salt Bar and Kitchen is the sort of place you long to find when you're out of formal mode, maybe with the family, relaxing, where the living's easy. Their food is inventive offering dishes such as poached baby pear, crispy duck salad and beetroot pannacotta; wild New Forest mushroom risotto finished with white truffle oil and sukura cress or seared scallops, fresh samphire grass and blood orange salad to start.
