Salvo's Restaurant

After my visit to Salvo's last night I thought I'd share my experience, as I often do, with Restaurant-Guide. When we arrived the restaurant was almost full so we were lucky to be seated straightaway, especially being a family of six. I've dined at Salvo's before so know how good the food is and this visit was no exception. The service was great, especially so as even my children commented on it. They particularly enjoyed joining in with the singing of 'Happy Birthday', which the whole restaurant sang to this one rather surprised lady! This goes to create Salvo's buzzing atmosphere, which you don't find in many restaurants, especially these days. Judging by how busy it was, they must be getting it right. Well done!

Salvo’s had been around for 30 years and I think the fact they have never needed to section their waiters is absolutely fantastic. They may not have given you the wine list because they may have been waiting to see if you wanted wine, people have other drinks too. Salvo’s is by far the best Italian around, maybe if you concentrated on the food you would have realised.
