Samoji is a cosy Indian restaurant located in the heart of St. Albans on George Street in a fourteenth century listed building. As soon as guests enter they are welcomed by the tasty aroma of Indian curries. It's an intimate venue where you can enjoy a meal with family and friends in a relaxed ambience.

Start with aloo tikki, made of boiled potatoes and various spices, served hot with tamarind, yogurt and mint sauce, and salmon tikka, boneless fillets marinated in yogurt and spices roasted in a charcoal oven, and chicken shashlic, marinated overnight and barbecued with capsicum, tomato and onions. For main course try the tandoori combination of king prawn, chicken tikka, lamb chop, sheekh kebab and tandoori chicken, and lamb zardaloo, cooked with apricot and yogurt sauce with fresh medium hot spices. A variety of Indian breads and rice dishes are to hand.
