Santa Fe Restaurant - Brighton

Santa Fe, a New Mexican restaurant on East Street is the latest in a chain of restaurants serving New Mexican food.

It is housed in an inside-out building with rough walls and an exposed belly of air conditioning and lighting systems. The lighting is subtle and made up of modern steel-wire chandeliers and spotlights. The walls are covered in bright cheerful backlit paintings.

The menu is easy to follow and has a helpful glossary and icons indicating if a dish is hot or spicy, healthy, vegetarian or a combination of all three.
 
You can try the char-grilled quesadilla with sautéed mushrooms and jalapeño, sweet succulent shrimp ceviches, tortilla chips and salsa, black beans flautas or the char-grilled chicken galisteo They have a vast bar serving beers, wines, cocktails, shorts, longs and a huge variety of tequilas and margaritas.

A full desserts menu includes apple pie and coconut crème brûlée.
