This award winning Turkish fish restaurant has a wonderful charm to it. There's a very small dining area on the ground floor with further space in the basement, both of which are decked out with suitable marine based decorations. The menu commences with £5 starters of mussels flavoured with a beer marinade, exotic deep-fried squid in a vodka, milk and flour coating, or alternatively you can go down the meze route. The best of the main courses are the char-grilled fish such as whole sea bass, red mullet and bream, or generous fillets of succulent tuna grilled exactly to your liking. Sariyer Balik really is the place to be for generous portions of first class fish at affordable prices.
