I discovered Sassos by complete accident and have returned every time I am in Harrogate. I love decent Italian menu and it seems impossible to find them nowadays so, I'm grateful for the consistent experience Sasso offers. I always recommend the restaurant and have never had a bad meal.

I have recently moved to Harrogate and I have been making my way through the restaurants in town, spoilt for choice yet only a handful cut through. I have avoided the chains that always disappoint, yet this independent charming eatery is in the small handful that have won me over. I am addicted to a certain pasta dish though I can’t remember the Italian name - it is with ham and aubergine. It is an absolute treat to be served fresh homemade pasta so delicious and flavoursome, though I shall be making my way through the menu.
