Although a fish restaurant, locally sourced beef is also served. My companion and I both had a 4oz sirloin steak in a ciabatta with chips and a generous side salad with a glass of house red. A jug of water was provided on request without charge. The dessert portions were generous and at £28 for two, the meal represented good value for money. Although a Friday evening, we did not book and the restaurant was not busy. The music was loud and unwelcoming, but it was turned down immediately on request. When we were eventually the sole diners later in the evening, it was turned off, which we appreciated.
