A lively atmosphere, with efficient service - oysters, monkfish, sea bass and vegetarian options were all well received by our party. A very pleasant lunch. One point about the previous review - even the most exclusive of joints can run into problems selling fresh shellfish. Avoid eating it, to totally minimise the possible problems. Otherwise, sniff and sniff again. The nose test is well nigh infallible.

We had a birthday celebration dinner for a party of fourin September. The atmosphere was excellent, as was the service.However, all four of us had serious stomach complaints that evening and after conducting superficial inquiries the matter was considered to be irrelevant. I'm sorry, but for a £300 dinner you expect more. I'll never go again.
