Seasons Dining Room Description

In this age of fusion dining, where people are increasingly being drawn towards gourmet and haute cuisine, some restaurants still concentrate on creating wholesome and straightforward English food. Seasons Dining Room is one such welcoming little refuge serving seasonal modern British dishes, cooked with passion.

Their produce is all sourced from Britain and Western Europe, so rest assured the ingredients are not travelling thousands of miles to reach your plate. A meal could start with pan-seared scallops with tempura, chorizo and apple celeriac puree, or house speciality mussels.

Jugged Welsh hare, mashed potatoes and vegetables, or roasted fillet of Dorset hake with braised Savoy cabbage and mash Swede, make delicious mains. Hot chocolate fondant with English dairy vanilla ice cream helps end the meal on a sweet note. A range of British cheeses, wine and ales help to underline the patriotic credentials of this attractive restaurant.

You could enjoy a delicious organic beef or free range chicken roast with all the trimmings on Sunday.

I have been visiting this restaurant regularly for the past six months and to me, although I am in a similar trade, it is by far the best place I have ever experienced. It is consistently excellent and has always exceeded my expectations. I would thoroughly recommend it.
