Seeds Description

A delightful cottage style bistro/restaurant, working out of a tiny kitchen with man-sized results. Fixed price 3 course dinners at around £21 are their speciality during which you might encounter such delicacies as home-potted shrimps, Welsh rack of lamb and chocolate and rum mousse.

To say the atmosphere is relaxing could be the understatement of the year. When the season demands the log burner chunters away. The walls are lined with the collected bits of world travel and after your meal is over there is coffee that outdoes most others of its kind. A wine list out of all proportion with the size of the enterprise contains over 160 bins, all realistically priced, with house wine at £11.50 and six wines by the glass.

What can I say about the place? It’s just superb and we travel all the way from Telford. The menu is great - it suits all tastes and the food is cooked perfectly. The lady who runs the front of house is friendly and even during our first visit we didn’t feel rushed at all.
