The Two Fat Ladies are back again, doing what they always do best - well, if a picture of well-built ladies in the neighbourhood popping in and out of restaurants is what comes to your mind, then it's time you shook it up a bit and realised that this amusingly-named group has been extending their seafood belt from the West End and City Centre to the basement location at their Buttery outlet. So when the seafood craving kicks in and you're around Argyle Street, head with all speed to The Shandon Belles.

Next the menus help you dive deep into what they define as 'honest, tasty home style cooking', whether it's a fillet of Shetland salmon, mussel and herb cream chowder, or Scotch 6oz rib eye steak with a grilled tomato. These could be preceded by pan-fried chilli and lemon calamari, whisky and thyme marinated chicken or caramelised onion and goats' cheese tart.
