Shanti Indian Cuisine restaurant in Coggeshall Road has slowly built an unrivalled reputation for bringing high standards of Indian and Bangladeshi cooking in the Braintree area. Chef's specialties of chicken and lamb are presented with gusto; it could be the rezella style with yogurt and special Oriental spices, or the Peshwari way with pistachios and almond. The baltis, dansaks, vindaloos, kormas and rogan josh read enticingly and so do vegetarian specials of bhindi bhaji okra, spicy potatoes and lentils fried with garlic.
