Sherlock's Bar & Grill Description
The AA Rosette awarded Sherlock's Grill features a mesquite wood burning oven, with the menu focusing on good quality seasonal ingredients and organic foods. Their 'a la carte' includes monkfish tail roasted with cheesy mash and crisp pancetta, free range chicken cooked under a brick, asparagus and cepes risotto with white truffle oil and parmesan, and finishes with cream brûlée or a selection of matured cheeses.
You can relax by a flickering open fire and enjoy afternoon tea in The Sherlock Holmes's lounge, or make use of their bar with a choice of dishes that includes crackling cos lettuce Caesar salad with corn fed chicken breast, traditional fish and chips or a freshly made pizza, or share a tapas selection as you watch the world go by on busy Baker Street.

This is a fabulous restaurant! We went there for a weekend drink recently and the bartender made an Absolut Sherlock which was heavenly and I would need a whole review to explain how divine it was. We stayed on for dinner.
The restaurant is tucked into the back of the bar and serves what can probably be described as British food - a selection of lamb, beef and fish. Unlike most restaurants in the area, you actually get great quality food for a good price. The tourist trap that is Baker Street can often up the prices but Sherlock's seems committed to offering beautifully cooked food at affordable prices. The sorbet was to die for. Their staff were the best of all – all so friendly and they gave us time and space to decide what we wanted and enough time to empty the plates before they cleared away. We will definitely be heading back for another visit soon.
