Shillibeers Description
Shillibeers is an unstuffy, casual restaurant and bar in Islington serving modern European cuisine in a spacious industrial-style interior that was earlier used as a bus depot. Their ambience is simple but stylish and contemporary with low iron ceilings, panelled walls and large windows.
The buzzy bar downstairs is full of comfortable sofas with an all-day 'menu rapide', with choices such as homemade haddock and salmon fishcakes and lime coriander fajitas. The cosier restaurant offers a more relaxing ambience and a brasserie-style fixed price menu which changes on a daily basis. There is a Sunday carvery plus pre-theatre options for those visiting the nearby Pleasance.
