Shimla Spice Restaurant - Shipley Description

This cosy restaurant offering a distinctive dining experience in contemporary, spacious and elegant surroundings is well-liked among locals and visitors alike around Yorkshire. The interior features colour changing mood lighting making each visit a refreshing experience and an ideal spot for an intimate dinner for two or a get together with family and friends. The menu features authentic Kashmiri cuisine.

Start with shami kebab, tender minced lamb with lentils, onions, green chillies, fried with eggs and served with mint sauce and salad, and fresh prawns served in a tangy salad cream. Main course may well consist of desi chicken aloo karahi, cooked in a traditional Punjabi style, giving an authentic taste of Asian food, with a choice of mild, medium or hot. Also try king prawn multani, cooked with green peppers, fresh onions, lemon juice, herbs and spices, with stuffed parathas, or pilau rice.

This restaurant is serving the finest of Asian cuisine in Shipley and has been awarded the best restaurant in Bradford for the past two years running. The food is outstanding, the atmosphere is bustling and the service is friendly, probably a 5 star service restaurant. It’s a very highly recommended venue to take families, friends and large group parties.

This is a fantastic venue to dine in, located just next to the Shipley train station, easily accessed if you’re coming from Leeds, Bradford and surrounding areas. It is an ideal venue if you are having a special occasion. We as a family have dined there on many occasions such as birthdays, anniversary parties, office parties and family get togethers. The place has been awarded the ‘best restaurant in Bradford’ for the past two years. Serving the finest Asian cuisine in the perfect setting where you can also take your own alcohol with no corkage charged, it saves a lot on your bill. Just give this restaurant a try, very highly recommended!
