We were celebrating a birthday and went there for a meal last weekend. We were met by the courteous staff and the house wine was fine and we ordered the food. Having had a couple of beers and two bottles of house, the bill still came to £180, which for the small child portion sizes was not what we were used to in the past. The food was gorgeous though and had I not been hungry, I would have been delighted. When I used their taxi service to go home, I found the drivers were on the mobile!

We are local to Esher and the Siam Food Gallery has been one of our favourite restaurants to take friends, with tasty, reliable food and service. Although it was expensive, the quality of food usually more than made up for it. We went there last night and were disappointed. The restaurant has hiked all their prices by approximately forty to fifty percent. The house wines were not available and had apparently been taken off the menu for that evening because they had run out. The Chablis was the cheapest available wine at £26. The food itself was disappointing, with meagre portions and poor quality - minced chicken instead of chicken pieces in a stir fry dish. We complained to the manager who was on duty, which we normally don’t, and were met with an indifferent attitude and were told the food was the same price in Thailand.
