Siam Smile
27 College Street, Worcester, WR1 2LS
A comfortable not too large restaurant just round the corner from the east end of the Cathedral without one of those suspiciously large menus that inspire wonder but hardly confidence. A good range of dishes embraces vegetarian and fish, including pal churches, deep-fried whole tilapia, de-boned and skinless, and topped with curry sauce. The roam tale, steamed mixed seafood with fresh Thai herbs caught my eye, and when I asked for a green seafood curry, though not on the menu it was supplied with little delay. The customary 'package' meals are available with the Chaowpraya River weighing in at £23.95 a head and offering sufficient nourishment to keep anyone with a reasonable appetite going for several days, and even the more modest River Kwan, at £15.A comfortable not too large restaurant just round the corner from the east end of the Cathedral without one of those suspiciously large menus that inspire wonder but hardly confidence. REVIEWS OF Siam Smile
PGS (16 March 2011)
We first went as we had missed the film start – it’s very convenient for Vue - and had a superb meal. We went again in case it was a one-off and it was superb again. Excellent choice, good food, charming service and reasonably priced. We're going again for a birthday treat and are confident it will be as good again.
Moo Ma (9 November 2010)
I have eaten here several times and it is first class every time. Greeting, service and food all great! I am going again soon - once in November and again in December. I am working my way through the menu!
