Situated in an old farmhouse in the village of Aldridge, Simon's Restaurant is a family-run affair with a loyal local following and an exhaustive assortment of Chinese dishes. The farmhouse looks distinct with its colours of light grey and sky blue and inside, diners receive a warm comfortable with attentive service and flavoursome food.
Specialising in tasty seafood dishes since 1982, the menu concentrates on authentic Cantonese cuisine with eight set menus and daily specials. Three spacious dining rooms and a convivial bar keep the mood leisurely and informal.

There were seven of us celebrating a friend’s birthday at Simon's restaurant. A name like Simon's for a Chinese restaurant is a bit surprising. The restaurant is a little out of the way but well worth the visit. We had the set meal for four extended to cover seven people. There were four courses included, each one being top notch. The king prawns in batter were very tasty. The waiters were friendly and chatty but I think they may have been more reserved if we had not been so talkative. All in all, a pleasant evening and would definitely go back again.
