Simple, airy and unpretentious, The Skylon Grill - located within the Royal Festival Hall on the South Bank - offers an extensive range of grilled dishes and other fare in an ambience that is relaxed and informal. Giving each dish her own personal touch, Head Chef Helena Poulakka blends subtle flavours from around the world with British ingredients to create a menu that is distinctive and unique.

The a la carte menu comprises starters of salmon gravadlax with charlotte potato and honey mustard dressing, and salad gourmand of smoked duck, gizzards, foie gras and truffle vinaigrette. Main courses include wild mushroom linguine with poached egg, brioche crumbs, pea shoots and mushroom veloute, and grills of T-bone steak and rump steak. To finish off the meal, diners can indulge in desserts of banana sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream and a variety of creams and sorbets. There is also a kids menu which offers favourites such as spaghetti Bolognese, chipolata sausages and mash, and knickerbocker glory ice sundaes.

The restaurant also offers black teas, coffees, herbal infusions and a variety of wines to complement the meal.
