I work for a financial company in Canary Wharf and took four clients to Smiths of Tower Bridge for lunch. On arriving we were greeting by a smiling young women who asked whether we would like to have a drink in the bar area before being taken to our seats, to which we declined. The restaurant is beautiful, with stunning views over Tower Bridge and fantastic tables facing out over the Thames. We chose from the set lunch menu which was very fairly priced and offered an excellent range of dishes with both meat and fish options. The specials which I am told are changed on a daily basis made a nice addition. The waitress was prompt, polite and our food was served in excellent time. Although this restaurant is a little further away from Canary Wharf than I would normally venture for a business lunch, I will certainly be attending Smiths again.
