Social, The Description

The Social is a hugely popular gastro pub that has a devoted group of followers and it's certainly not difficult to see why this is so. The atmosphere is always lively and the food is well worth sampling. On the appetiser menu you'll find the likes of crisp fried baby squid, or seared scallops with grilled black pudding. Mains consist of char-grilled rib eye steak, risotto cake with butternut squash and confit of duck leg with mustard mash. It's also the ideal weekend brunch venue, where you can indulge in dishes such as eggs Florentine, or a full English breakfast. Main courses are priced from around £7 to £12.50.
