We are regulars at this little undiscovered gem of a restaurant based on Grange Road West. I have been coming here for a good year now and have never had a bad meal. The staff ensure that even if there is a large party, you will not be neglected. The best thing is, if you’re anything like us and enjoy eating out more than once a week or more, it doesn’t hurt your wallet as it is a bring your own wine restaurant. I find myself regularly saving about £20-30 per visit going to Sonar Bangla rather than other restaurants, and I get to bring in my favourite wine.

I had my 50th birthday party here – it’s a quiet little restaurant at the end of Grange road and next door to the Cavendish, and serves up some great food. The staff are very attentive to your needs and make sure you feel very welcome and special. The owner told me they like to focus and cater for individual needs and make sure everyone is seen to properly. I must say they do a fantastic job - the best thing is you can bring your own drinks and the menu is very reasonably priced. I would recommend this restaurant a thousand times over. Keep up the good work Shab and Staff.
