Simple dishes such as jabche, clear noodles with mixed vegetables and pan fried beef, or dumplings of deep fried king prawn can be followed by barbequed pork; gal bi of beef short ribs; slices of ox tongue, or hot pots of mixed seafood, bean curd and vegetables called hae mool jeon gol. Popular Korean delicacies such as bibimbab also make pleasing appearances on tables.
