The Spyglass is a good restaurant. You won't find gourmet food there, more like good solid basic stuff. There's always a good atmosphere, staff are friendly and it's in a great location. You could expect responsible food, reasonable price.

I have been a fan of this restaurant for a few years now. Their Moroccan lamb is and always has been magnificent, but recent changes to the menu have left me a little disappointed.

The removal of the Mediterranean roasted vegetables with couscous has not been well received by my other half, and the side salads seem to be dripping in a very creamy dressing.

The decision to longer offer 500ml carafes of wine is also a shame as this was an ideal option for two people when one was driving. I still love the atmosphere of the place, and as I say the lamb is still great, but I know they can do better!
