It's not difficult to locate St. Benedicts Restaurant. It is after all on St. Benedicts Street in Norwich, situated right beside Pinocchio's Restaurant and with its chic exterior and painted awning, it exudes a bistro-ish feel which accurately describes the actual atmosphere as well as food there. Locally sourced ingredients are used extensively in the dishes resulting in tasty and honest fare which shines through with the passion of the chef.

At lunch time you might find the Spanish style rabbit stew with smoked paprika and chorizo tempting, while the regular à la carte menu brings starters of tempura prawns served with red onion confit, Parma ham and rocket. Main courses could include 20 hour cooked brisket of beef served with a red wine and shallot sauce and carrot puree and hand cut chips and don't miss the delicious desserts such as Moroccan orange cake served with caramelised oranges and dark chocolate mousse. The wine list at St. Benedicts is excellent and complements the meal perfectly.
