St Helens Restaurant Description
Overlooking one of England's largest village greens, this restaurant - refurbished in 2005 - sources the best local produce available for its seasonal menus, including island-reared free range pork, chicken and duck.
Fresh fish and seafood feature highly, caught locally off the coast and the competitively priced whole lobster salad has a loyal following. Children are made most welcome too with their own menu produced using the same ingredients as the main one. Favourites include homemade chicken goujons, fresh pasta and the famous 'mush-in' ice cream sundae.

Fantastic find - every time we go to Wight we always have to eat there. Evenings are intimate and relaxed and the Sunday brunch and lunch are both fabulous. Pitch up and relax late Sunday mornings, read the papers and let them look after you. I never had a bad time and must have been at least thirty times now. Mark, the Chef is always around in the kitchen and is hands on at front when needed. He always says hello, which makes the place feel like it's cared for and he's obviously passionate about what he does. He could be the next Ramsey so watch this space – go there now, before the prices get higher like London.
